Rockstar still hasn't published a weapon list for GTA 6. This page collects every gun we could tie to official material: the two trailers, the screenshot galleries, the cover art, the August 2026 Extended Look and Rockstar's own editions page. Each row says where the weapon appears and how solid that is. If we couldn't trace something back to Rockstar, it isn't in the table. We cover those claims further down.
The game is out on November 19, 2026. After that, this page becomes a full database with damage, prices and locations.
How to read the table
Official name means Rockstar has printed the name, either on the editions page or on the gun in an official image. Seen means the weapon is clearly on screen in official material but has no confirmed in-game name, so we describe it by the real gun it resembles. Those real-world matches come from the community and the press, not from Rockstar.

That makes five named guns and about fifteen more we can only describe. GTA 5 launched with well over 50 weapons, so this is a small slice of what's coming.
You can't carry all of them any more
The weapon wheel with infinite pockets is gone. Rob Nelson, who runs Rockstar North, said in September 2026 interviews that you can keep two weapons concealed on you. Rifles and shotguns can't be hidden. They sit on your back, and the rest of your collection lives in your car's trunk, a hideout locker or an Ammu-Nation locker. Pedestrians also react when they see a drawn gun, which GTA 5 never really bothered with.

Combat changes shown in the Extended Look
Rockstar's 26-minute gameplay showcase from August 27, 2026 showed more gunplay than both trailers put together. The parts that matter for weapons:
- You can swap between two guns with one button instead of opening the wheel.
- Weapons and items have separate wheels.
- Enemies drop their guns and you can pick them up mid-fight.
- A slow-motion aiming mode marks the spots that will kill or just incapacitate a target.
- You can shoot from moving vehicles and aim for tires.
- Melee depends on what's around you. Lucia takes someone down with a stiletto heel.
Where you'll buy guns
Ammu-Nation is back, and at least one branch has a face: Phil, who stars in the store's TV ad in Trailer 2. Rockstar hasn't shown prices or store locations yet. The Ultimate Edition also adds the PTT Youngin$ Illegal Goods Store, but Rockstar hasn't said what it sells.
Edition extras
Two things get mixed up a lot:
- Everyone who pre-orders before November 20 gets the tropical palm-tree weapon pattern, a nod to Tommy Vercetti's shirt, from the Vintage Vice City Pack. Rockstar says it works on most guns. This comes with the Standard Edition too.
- Only the Ultimate Edition has the Hawk and Little Morgan revolvers and the engraved versions of Jason's Girardi ES9 and Lucia's Klose K17.

Claims we left out
Plenty of weapon lists online include things we couldn't confirm:
- A gold-trimmed polymer pistol. Only one outlet mentions it, and we couldn't match it to any official screenshot.
- A separate sniper rifle. Every sighting we checked turned out to be the scoped hunting rifle from Mount Kalaga.
- 90+ weapon lists. Those draw on footage from the 2022 leak, which was an early development build. Rockstar hasn't confirmed any of it.
- The MP5 in the Ammu-Nation ad. It isn't there. The MP5s are in the bank heist scenes.
