Jason's car in GTA 6 is the Vapid Ganado, a low-slung coupe-utility modeled on the 1970 Ford Ranchero. It's all through Trailer 2, it's on Rockstar's editions page in yellow with a red racing stripe, and the Ultimate Edition includes a set of mods for it. If you've seen it called the "Vapid Creado", that name came from a misread badge in 2025. Rockstar's own listing says Ganado.

Why a Ranchero
The Ranchero is a strange, very American car. Ford built it from 1957 to 1979 as a passenger car with an open bed behind the seats, for people who wanted a pickup that drove like a sedan. By 1970 it shared its body with the Ford Torino and could be ordered with big V8s.
That fits Jason. Rockstar's bio has him working for drug runners in the Keys after leaving the Army, and a Ranchero is a working man's car with some muscle under the hood. It isn't flashy, and it's useful.
The Ganado Retro Build
The Ultimate Edition lists a "Ganado Retro Build". It isn't a second car. It's a set of modifications for Jason's Ganado: a cab spoiler, rear antennas and a special livery. If you're on the Standard Edition, you still get the Ganado, just without that look.

What the Ganado is good for
We haven't driven it. Based on how Rockstar describes the new driving model, a heavy rear-wheel-drive car with a big engine should need careful throttle control. The open bed should also matter now that loot is physical and vehicles carry different amounts of it, though Rockstar hasn't said how much the Ganado holds.
It's also a personal vehicle, so its trunk works as a gun locker. That's where your long guns live now that you can't hide them on your body (more on that here).
