Cal Hampton is Jason Duval's friend and, like Jason, one of Brian Heder's associates in the Leonida Keys. Rockstar's bio paints him as a homebody with a paranoid streak: he's happiest at home listening in on Coast Guard radio, with a few beers and some private browser tabs open. Jason, according to the bio, has bigger plans than Cal does. GTA 6 launches November 19, 2026.

Who he is
Cal is the friend who stays home. Where Jason is looking for a way up, Cal seems content in his chair with a scanner. The Coast Guard detail isn't random in a game about smuggling in the Keys: someone who listens to Coast Guard traffic for fun is useful to people moving product by boat, whether or not he thinks of himself as part of the operation.
Rockstar's bio describes the Keys through his eyes as the low tide of America. Rockstar wrote that line, so it isn't something Cal says in the game, but it sets the tone for his corner of Leonida.

Rockstar's August 27, 2026 gameplay showcase included Cal and Jason spending time together on a fishing trip. It's a quiet scene that fits the bio: Cal is the friend Jason hangs out with, not a crime boss.
Voice actor
Bobby Moynihan, from Saturday Night Live, is commonly listed as Cal's actor. Rockstar doesn't announce its cast and Moynihan hasn't confirmed it publicly as far as we can find, so treat it as likely but unconfirmed.
