Brian Heder is an old-school drug runner in the Leonida Keys, and Jason Duval's landlord. Rockstar describes him as a smuggler who still misses the good old days, runs a boat yard, and these days lets other people do his dirty work. He's on his third wife, Lori. Jason lives in one of Brian's places rent-free, and the price is helping out with local shakedowns and dropping by for Lori's sangria. This page covers Brian and Lori together, since Rockstar has shown them as a pair. GTA 6 launches November 19, 2026.

Brian's deal with Jason
The arrangement tells you most of what Rockstar wants you to know about Brian. He has property and connections, and he'd rather pay in favors than take risks himself. Jason gets a roof, and Brian gets a younger man to lean on people for him. It's a comfortable setup for both, and it puts Jason in debt to someone who has been in the business far longer than he has.
Brian appears alongside Jason in Trailer 2, and his truck, a lifted Vapid Caracara pickup, has its name on the hood decal. Jason's friend Cal Hampton is described in Rockstar's material as another of Brian's associates.
Brian and Lori in the Extended Look
Rockstar's August 27, 2026 gameplay showcase gave both of them a scene. Jason and Lucia meet Brian and Lori, and the conversation plays out with flashbacks as they tell a story. Brian and Jason share cigars. Some breakdowns also describe Brian setting up work for the pair and warning Jason with a story about a childhood friend. It's the first time Lori has had more than a line in a bio.
Voice actor
Stephen Root, known for King of the Hill and Office Space, said in September 2026 that he voices a character in GTA 6, and reports identify that character as Brian. Rockstar itself doesn't announce voice casts, so this is as close to confirmed as it usually gets before launch. Nobody has been named for Lori.
Still unknown
- The name of Brian's boat yard. Some fan databases give one, but it doesn't come from Rockstar.
- Whether Brian gives missions, and whether he turns on Jason at some point
- Anything about Lori beyond the marriage and the sangria
